Allow me to introduce: My hometown Oderberg, located in the geologically interesting region between the Uckermark and the Oderbruch. This is also where the foundation was laid for my later career aspiration of becoming a geography teacher. Not least thanks to a fantastic former teacher, Herrmann Seidel, who, however, was already a museum director at my time and inspired me with early history. It was also the wish of the Oderberg Inland Navigation Museum to put together the Oderberg game. Just a memory game? That wasn't enough for us. After all, this dreamy Brandenburg small town has a eventful history. It was once more famous and powerful than Berlin. But then Frederick the Great had an idea... and the splendor of Oderberg faded. Well, at least its idyllic location in the terminal moraine belt of the last ice age has remained. "An entertaining game for young and old, and a must for all former and new residents of Oderberg."
