Didn't we all used to say: "My father explains our nine planets to me every Sunday?" Unfortunately, that's no longer true today – because Pluto is no longer a planet. But why not? "My father explains our night sky to me every Sunday" This is the new mnemonic for the correct order of the planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune (from the sun).
