Dyslexia & Dysgraphia

When there is a reading and writing disorder, trouble is brewing. Not being able to read correctly and fluently is a very big handicap in our school and education system, but also in everyday life. Anyone who cannot read a text or simply does not understand it will also have really big problems in all other subjects except sports. It is estimated that about 7.5 million Germans are illiterate. Children and young people who read and write poorly number in the tens of millions. A damning indictment of our system.

Some of it is self-inflicted and not due to genetic transmission by parents. Sometimes it's a lack of motivation, often due to poor learning methods, most often due to a lack of enthusiasm for the subject on the part of the subject teacher.
