It began with an on-site visualization techniques seminar at the health insurance company's premises. This led to the idea of a very interesting project: a joint mind map calendar. From then on, 12 mind maps were needed for the annual AOK mind map calendar. The supervisor and apprentices selected half of the mind maps from the Academy's portfolio (typically learning and health topics), while the other half were created by the health insurance company's apprentices and then revised by us. The result was a distinctive mind map calendar, with which the health insurance company's numerous field staff consistently made a lasting impression.\n\n\u003ch3\u003eMind Map Brochure on Business Succession\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\nIt was a major concern for the IHK Ostbrandenburg to create a calendar-like brochure on business succession. Employees gathered their expert knowledge and, after a mind map seminar at the Academy's premises, developed their topics. This resulted in 13 clear mind maps on this subject, providing an excellent guide for entrepreneurs who are seeking a successor for their company.\n\n\u003ch3\u003eA Mind Map as a Menu\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\nA Scandinavian restaurant desired a menu in mind map form. This was very unusual for guests and certainly attracted their attention, especially since the descriptions were also in Swedish. But with this, the restaurant had a unique selling point. Every guest was allowed to take this original menu home to be prepared for the next visit, but above all, to tell new guests about the restaurant, which happened very frequently. The menu became a cult object.\n\n\u003ch3\u003eExplaining Your Own Services with a Mind Map\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\nSometimes it is not easy for an entrepreneur to explain their own services in a few words. However, this is very important at trade fairs, where there is relatively little time for customer discussions. To get straight to the point quickly requires practice and self-discipline. An illustrated mind map often provides quick help. A colleague had an average of 2 customer conversations per hour at her trade fair booth, even though demand was very high.
